A pending sports bet is neither a win nor a loss yet. It means the sportsbook is still waiting to complete one or more checks needed to grade the market. That does not mean every market should take the full 24 hours. Many simple match-result markets can settle quickly once the official result is available. Player statistics, postponed events, abandoned matches, corrections and multi-leg wagers can require more time.

Sportsbooks commonly settle wagers using official competition data or recognised score providers. A television graphic, social-media post or live-score app can update faster, but that does not always make it the final source used for settlement. Voided selections can also change the final calculation. Current platform guidance says a voided leg in a combo is generally treated at odds of 1.00 while the remaining valid selections continue. If every leg is voided, the stake is returned. A half-win or half-loss can create another type of adjusted payout.

Open the wager record and inspect each leg instead of looking only at the overall combo card. One unresolved leg inside the combination can explain why the total payout has not appeared.

A full Cash Out settles an eligible wager early at the offered amount, while a partial Cash Out leaves part of the position active. If you fully cashed out and received confirmation, that wager should not be waiting for the event’s normal final settlement in the same way as an untouched open bet.

A settlement delay does not change the original odds or make the same selection more likely to win next time. Placing another wager because the first is still pending only creates a second independent bet. If the original later settles as a loss, the new stake does not repair it. If it settles as a win, the second wager was still unnecessary unless you deliberately wanted extra exposure.
